Mo and Wendy registers their marriage at The Registry of Marriages (ROM) Singapore. The marriage was solemnized by JP Chong Mia Lian and I have the joy of documenting this day for them. I had known Wendy prior to the wedding having done some photography work for her earlier. Mo, I met later through Wendy. Both of them are artistic people and very talented their own industry. One evening before the wedding, I had spoke with Mo at length over the phone; they wanted a non-traditional, simple affair, just them, with some close friends and relatives, a private celebration of their love. Its not about being who’s who, what is or what’s not, its not about wearing a white dress or a black dress on the wedding day; it is about being human.
It is about the way he look at her, every time.
It is about the way they hold hands, their fingers intertwines and magic flows.
To love and be loved.
And to be blessed with friends. I took some shots of Wendy with her best friend Sara while they were getting ready at The St Regis hotel room. Viewing the shots together, I wanted to delete a particular one because Sara’s expression was kinda weird. But Sara said no. I asked why and she said: “Because Wendy look nice in that shot.”
Mo and Wendy, I wish them happiness, strength and many blessings in their new lives together.
They wanted a documentary styled coverage, no fuss, no stiffness and all natural. That’s what I like do too.
