Editorial Portrait of Cathay Organisation CEO Suhaimi Rafdi | Singapore Portrait Photographer

Singapore Portrait Photography

Portrait of Mr Suhaimi Rafidi, CEO of Cathay Organisation Holdings.

The shoot would be done mainly in the theatre with some auxiliary shots around the The Cathay cineplex. The specific theatre of choice was the Grand Cathay, which as with all cinemas, very dark. Black walls, black ceilings, dark curtains and light seals. An interesting observation was that the interior lights was brighter an hour later and gave approximately 1 stop of more ambient. My guess was that those interior lights need to warm up to certain operating temperatures to reach full output. The key light was a 46″ Photek Softlighter II, along with a snooted speedlight for some details on the background ceiling.

Here are the tear sheet scans.
